It will be interesting to see what ground improvements they make over the summer as currently the away end is an 800 allocation in this stand. Currently the rules are for away fans to have at least 200 tickets which are undercover with 100 of them being seated so a lot of changes needed to be made over the summer.
The overall capacity and seated capacity is fine for the admission criteria that they would have to achieve by 30th April next year (assuming they stay up).

 

It also shows how far they have come and they've done it by running the club properly not throwing money around like others have in that division. It was 2 team going at it with everything they had, 4 goals, the woodwork hit twice and a team coming from behind twice.

 

I think after this season we should not worry about the crap teams or standards ... we couldn't beat some of the dross this season so why next season at home on a cold Tuesday night....? We need to get a good team with more quality and get the job done.... if our backroom team cant do that then they can go... It aint worked so far Sparky boy/ ...?

 

Looking a pretty shite league next season.

I’m pretty sure as soon as they won the penalty shootout, the commentator said they will be ripping up their 4G pitch and replacing it with grass, as per the rules?

 

There's no stand out teams next year and no big hitters money wise (perhaps MK if they don't go up).

We simply have to go up next season. No more excuses.

 

Carlisle will be spending a lot of money and Chesterfield will be up there

The league is weaker next season but we say that every season and we as club are still shite.

 

Yes, it's the same as what Harrogate and Sutton had to do when they got promoted. Real shame for the local community who will be losing a 3G pitch which a lot of local teams will play on so they'll have to find new pitches for next season.

 

This afternoon's match between Crawley and MK has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. I don't think I can remember a play off match ever being postponed. Big headache for the EFL as the 2nd leg is due to be played on Thursday so that will almost certainly need to be postponed at least 24 hours to allow the 1st leg to be played tomorrow. That does mean that Sky won't be happy if they have to show 2 play off games at the same time, only other option for Sky would be to put the 2nd leg on Saturday at 3pm or 7:45pm

 

Hopefully Park they will be saying Bradford will be a spending force, let other clubs worry about us for a change no more excuses. Chesterfield’s budget was only £2.1 million this season, much less than the likes of Wrexham and Stockport when they came up. We have nothing to fear in this league, if we are worried about teams like those you’ve mentioned we may as well just resign ourselves to becoming midtable league 2 forever.

For whatever reason I have renewed optimism for the upcoming season, similar to what I had in 2012, although I did have a similar feeling after seeing some of our transfer business in 2018 so it’s certainly been wrong before.

Try to be positive about our chances, we’re Bradford City, we need to get our mojo back and start performing on the grass rather than belittling ourselves because there’s someone new with a sugar daddy.

 

Postponed, 1st leg now tomorrow evening, second leg Saturday evening. Meaning 2 days less recovery time for the winner

If tinpot Crawley don’t get their act together by tomorrow, and it’s not playable again, I’m pretty sure they will be kicked out of the play-offs. And if they’re not, they bloody well should be

 

We can certainly look forward to seeing Crewe next season . They are abysmal in the first leg so far .
